Gotchas

1. Uses mod_wsgi, which has to be compiled locally. See : HowTo Compile mod_wsgi for LAMP servers
2. The config name for the database seems to have switched from being case-insensitive to being case sensitive. Therefore, it wasn't finding the config setting that was called DATABASE where it had been doing and I had to change it to database. Weird!
