Format

The preferred format of participants IDs is {Study Prefix}Ptnnnnnnnn{Check character} Where:

• {Study prefix} is a short prefix unique to the study, e.g. 'B' = BRICCS; 'Sc' = SCAD
• nnnnnnnn is a random number unique within the study
• {Check character} is a check character calculated from the other characters in the string, used to validate the ID.

Example:

• Study Prefix = 'Qu'
• Random Number = 01234567
• Check Character = 'F'

Example Participant ID = QuPt01234567F
