== Format

The preferred format of participants IDs is `{Study Prefix}Ptnnnnnnnn{Check character}` Where:

- `{Study prefix}` is a short prefix unique to the study, e.g. 'B' = BRICCS; 'Sc' = SCAD
- `nnnnnnnn` is a random number unique within the study
- `{Check character}` is a check character calculated from the other characters in the string, used to validate the ID.

Example:

- Study Prefix = 'Qu'
- Random Number = 01234567
- Check Character = 'F'

Example Participant ID = QuPt01234567F
