Drupal Gotchas CSS not displaying over HTTPS

Problem

When viewing a Drupal site over HTTPS, the CSS and JavaScript do not load

Solution

1. Edit the file {Drupal Home}/sites/default/settings.php
2. Either create or amend the setting $base_url to be the HTTPS base URL for the site. For example https://www.example.com
