Overview

Tool to synchronise date and time on all servers.

Installation

sudo apt-get install ntp 

By default this uses ntp.ubuntu.com, but other servers can be added for better accuracy and resilience.

To Check ntp is running

sudo /etc/init.d/ntp status 

To restart

sudo /etc/init.d/ntp restart 

Error: Macro BackLinks(None) failed
