NIHR BioResource Questionnaire - frequency list
The NIHR BioResource questionnaire includes a section for participants to list their long-term medication.
Our initial intention was to build up a picking list for this, compiled from the answers given by participants, and add to it as the recruitment process expands.
There is a dm+d browser at http://www.ppa.org.uk/systems/pcddbrowserv2_3new/browser.jsp#product which is a good place to look up correct drug names and dose information.
Starting drop-down list should contain:
OD = omni die (every day) OM = omni mane (every morning) ON = omni nocte (every night) Count all the above as 1
2: BD = bis die (twice daily) 3: TDS = ter die sumendum (to be taken three times daily) 4: QDS = quater die sumendum (to be taken four times daily) 5: 6: QQH = quarta quaque hora (every four hours)
If PRN (as required) enter an estimate, such as 0.5 per day.
Since the above is quite complicated, why not just allow a number entry and present the question as "how many doses per day?"
