    3535Configuration of data purging is done entirely in configuration files, not through the Onyx user interface. As per data export, only a system administrator can execute a purge of data by a function from within the user interface.

     37For the time being we are not doing any purge of data - to prepare for purging we have created a 'master table' for each database (Leicester and Northampton) which will retain a permanent record of every recruit, even after they are purged, so that reporting can be continuous. However, the master tables are updated daily, at 19:39 and 19:41 - so any purging must take place LATER than this, in case a patient is recruited, completed, exported and purged all in one day.
