GENVASC is a primary-care recruited cohort for identifying new factors in cardiovascular risk calculations.

GENVASC uses several of the LCBRU IT platform components, including:

• CiviCRM: CiviCRM GENVASC Use case description - to monitor recruitment and ensure compensation payments are made to recruiting GP practices.
  
• CaTissue: GENVASC Collection Protocol for CaTissue - to manage specimen collection and inventory.

• Drupal module: genvasc_labels for label printing, part of the LCBRU portal.
  
• Drupal module: ice_messaging for viewing and processing incoming ICE messages for GENVASC samples, part of the LCBRU portal.
