== Licensing

REDCap is not open sourc,e but it is free.  You can download the software provided you [[REDCap HowTo Join Consortium|join the consortium]] agree to a specific 'code sharing' license with the rest of the REDCap community, mediated by Vanderbilt University.

Leicester University signed the license agreement for us on 14 October 2010.
