2. The application is a web application which should run on any PC with a modern browser.  The site has been tested with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer 11.
 
3a. The application is hosted and all data stored on University Hospitals of Leicester servers, located within our secure data centre.  The most recent IG Toolkit score for UHL is 80% (satisfactory) (see https://www.igt.hscic.gov.uk/AssessmentReportCriteria.aspx?tk=428704500803904&cb=58758f59-352f-42c5-89a7-738e0a273123&sViewOrgId=225&sDesc=RWE).
 
3b. The application is only visible to computers within the N3 network, and then only to computers with IP addresses within the ranges of our partner organisations.  All communication between client computers and the application are encrypted using HTTPS.

3c. Users log into REDCap with a username and password.  Passwords must be at least 9 characters and must consist of at least one lower-case letter, one upper-case letter, and one number.

3d. User access is limited to the specific study and site to which they belong.
