The Onyx questionnaire is accessible from any UHL computer, but the default web browser (IE6) is less than ideal. Intended method for contact is by using the Prism webapp, which is a Mozilla labs creation - a stripped-down browser tied to a single site and with no controls. The Prism webapp needs to be installed (by UHL IM&T) on all computers which will need regular access to Onyx. PRISM can be downloaded from http://prism.mozillalabs.com/started/ Obviously what's needed is the standalone application. We need it to be installed, and then run so that it creates a desktop shortcut (in the 'all users' desktop) to run an instance of prism accessing the BRICCS server. The URL the shortcut needs to open is simply http://briccs.xuhl-tr.nhs.uk/ '''Method of installing Prism needs to be documented here.''' Currently (28.1.11) the Prism webapp is installed on 39 Hospital computers, the list of which can be found here: X:\Cardiovascular Sciences\WebAccess\BRU\BRICCS\IT Solutions\obiba\List of IP addresses of PC's with Prism 8.0 installed 28.10.11 .doc THIS PAGE NEEDS A LOT OF ADDITIONS, INCLUDING THE INSTALL PROCESS. I'VE FORGOTTEN IT.
