GENVASC is a primary-care recruited cohort for identifying new factors in cardiovascular risk calculations.

GENVASC uses several of the LCBRU IT platform components, including:

CaTissue: [[GENVASC Collection Protocol for CaTissue]] - to manage specimen collection and inventory.
i2b2: NOT YET DEPLOYED - to manage clinical data, mostly obtained from primary care, via a mechanism to be agreed.
Drupal module: [[genvasc_labels]] for label printing, part of the LCBRU portal.
